Hi everyone just thought i'd share some good news! after being without a car for 4yrs i am finally aquiring a Renault Clio 1.4 16v on saturday and i'm very excited! I will be able to get out and about far easier and it will open up new horizons for me. There will be no more boy-racing for me as i've grown out of that now and my White van-man days are well and truly over!!
I will let you know how my first proper journey went as i haven't driven for 4 years and must admit i am a bit nervous about being on our busy and hectic roads!
See you all later, Si

Hi Simon-
Glad to see you have purchased a car. It will give you the opportunity to explore this 'green and pleasant land.' And ofcourse..you can visit some of your mates!
I remember when I fist started driving in Britain. I kept wondering why everybody was on the wrong side of the road! (I'm kidding..ofcourse!)
Hi Simon-
Spelling correction:..."when I 'fist' started driving in Britain" should of read 'first.' At least I think that's what I should have typed. Unless I was referring to 'road rage.' Doh!
Driving can be so liberating. Enjoy it Simon, after a few days you'll the nerves will go and your stereo will be blaring with ACDC!
hya simon,
groovy on the old motor! top stuff.
i had a nearly new car not so long ago, but to be honest i still miss me old car betsie!!!!
she was my first car & my mums car before mine!
me new car reo is fab but she'll never quite replace bets!
ya could always try being a man-racer, if your boy-racer validation is up!!!

Hi Simon,
Great news regarding the car, the freedom that having "wheels" provides is fantastic!
I bought a motor-home a few years ago which is so huge, when it was delivered and left in my drive, I kept opening my front door and looking at it and thinking "how on earth am I going to drive that?" But of course I did, a question of "feel the fear and do it anyway"
I am sure after the initial nervousness has passed you'll be fine. Dx
Hi Si
Hope it goes/went well - a pretty challenging thing to do after not driving for 4 years. Oh and welcome to mind bloggling. Tone
